Pick It, Don’t Skip It! Cochrane’s Tree Fruit Round-Up Is Back!  Got fruit trees? Don’t let those apples go to waste—or attract unwanted wildlife!

Cochrane’s Community Tree Fruit Round-Up returns this August and September, turning backyard bounty into food for local families *and* local wildlife.

Pick your fruit and drop it off at the Cochrane Lagoon on select Saturdays (Aug. 23, Sept. 6, 13 & 20, noon–3 p.m.). Fresh stuff goes to food banks and fallen fruit feeds animals at the Cochrane Ecological Institute.

It’s an easy way to give back, reduce bear and coyote visits, and maybe even discover your new favorite apple recipe.

Check out the full interview we did with Hendrick Bosch with Wildlife Coexistence Cochrane, key organizer and key volunteer for the Community Tree Fruit Round Up:

Details at **cochrane.ca/TreeFruitRoundUp**. Let’s make every apple count!
