With the sun shining, community members of the small Alberta Town of Claresholm gathered for the annual summer celebration.

The Claresholm Fair Days and Old Western Jamboree take place every second weekend in August, allowing the town to celebrate its agricultural and western heritage.

This included community performances by local country artists, such as Trevor Panzak, and accepting donations for charities like the Claresholm Food Bank through a Pancake breakfast and local busking at Ringrose Park.

With local and visiting alike gathering in the downtown core, which saw the bulk of the celebration, which included “voluntold” pieing local Councillor Craig Zimmer, said it was good to see people gathering in the summer heat.

Amongst the local market and music in the heart of the town, another element that drew people to the small town was the local Wild West Rodeo taking place at the East Agriplex.
