An 18-year-old male has been charged by the Lethbridge Police in connection with the theft of dairy products from a downtown Lethbridge drug store.

Between August 8 and August 30, a male entered Shoppers Drug Mart along the 5000 block of 1 Avenue South numerous times and stole large quantities of milk and ice cream.

It is estimated that the total value of stolen goods is between $2,000 and $3,000.

Through video surveillance images that were provided to the police, members of the Downtown Police Unit observed a male matching the description of the subject, while they were on patrol on August 30.

The male was then arrested without any incident.

Lethbridge resident, James St. Pierre Eagle Tail Feathers, is now charged with 10 counts of theft under $5,000.

Eagle Tail Feathers was released from custody with the conditions that he does not attend the Park Place Mall or any Shoppers Drug Mart locations.

On September 10, he was found in breach of his release conditions, and was arrested,

Eagle Tail Feathers is remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today (September 12).
