The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program (MHIP) has started its annual birdseed fundraiser. This fundraiser has been going on for around five years, and is something they look forward to every year.
The Police Point Park Nature Centre is home to the interpretive program where they offer public nature programs for school groups, community groups, tourists, and local visitors at the nature centre all year long.
All of the donations go back into the MHIP and the programs that they run, because they’re always trying to put on as many public programs as they can.
Mhairi Donnelly, Assistant Chief Interpreter with MHIP said it’s lovely that the fundraiser brings people in the community together and truly supports the programs they offer.
The first order will be sent through the same time the form orders close, on October 5, at 10 a.m.
Visit the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program website to donate to the fundraiser or for more information on the different programs.
