This week, The National Gathering of Elders wrapped up at the Edmonton Expo Centre.
Thousands of Elders from across Canada attended the three day gathering, coming together to show the world their values, words & teachings to honor legacy and their resiliency.
The elders range in age from 60 up to 104 and are from all regions of Canada.
The gathering also offered an opportunity for Elders to interface with youth, which helped mitigate the generation gap, and allowed the younger generations to demonstrate respect, regard, and show honor for their Elders.
