Cochrane families are getting ready for one of the town’s favourite Halloween events – Trunk or Treat at the SLS Centre!
Happening this Saturday, October 25th from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Fieldhouse parking lot, the event turns parked cars into candy stations as local businesses, organizations and community groups decorate their trunks in spooky, silly, and creative themes. It’s a fun, safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. Perfect for little ones and families who want to celebrate early.
Emily Redel, the SLS Centers Hospitality Coordinator spoke with CJWE about everything you can expect at this years spooktacular event:
Last year’s event drew nearly 4,000 people, and this year’s shaping up to be even bigger with even more decorated trunks, games, and music between treats.
SLS Centre organizers say it’s all about creating a safe, inclusive, and family-friendly Halloween experience with less walking, more candy, and plenty of fun. Gates close at 4:30 p.m., so grab your costumes and get ready for a spooky good time! 👻
