Aboriginal Awareness Week has officially started in the City of Calgary and National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21.

CJWE had a one on one with Calgary Mayor Joyti Gondek to talk about the importance of co-operation between the city and Indigenous Nations that call Calgary home. As well, why it is important to celebrate Aboriginal Awareness week and Indigenous People Day.
