The Calgary Food Bank has a new location to help those in need, but they need donations to come in.
According to Melissa From, the President and CEO of the Calgary Food Bank, the are relying on public support this December.
With that, they have a bit of a holiday wish list, which contains canned tomatoes, spaghetti, rice, peanut butter, baby formula, and diapers.
While they collect money and food at the Food Bank, clothing donations will have to go to places like the Salvation Army and Goodwill.
From says people can access the services the same way people can donate.
For those who need help from the Food Bank, they will be closed around Christmas time.
Not only is the Calgary Food Bank helping those in need, but they have just opened up a new location.
From adds that Calgary is supportive when it comes to food banks.
But, From says they serve hundreds of households every day, and they want people to remember there are people in the city going without.
