Lowa Beebe has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer and Sable Sweetgrass as the Director of Arts & Culture with the Calgary Indigenous Arts, Culture, and Tourism organization.
CIACT is an Indigenous led non-profit dedicated to strengthening economic sovereignty, cultural revitalization, and Indigenous led tourism in Calgary.
Lowa is a proud member of the Piikani/Kainai Nations of the Blackfoot Confederacy and Treaty 7 in Southern Alberta. Her work is recognized in the public relations sector as an advisor, advocate, and strategist in governance, media, and communications.
Beebe offers an extensive background in leadership, executive level, fundraising and more.
She has worked with Xerox Canada, Telus Communications, Assembly of First Nations, Scholastic Canada, Eagle Law Group, and various non-profit organizations.
