Lethbridge is Looking to Spread Love and Kindness with Random Acts of Kindness Week

By Sarah Scott Feb 3, 2026 | 1:02 PM

You know what we could all use a little more of right now? Kindness. And the good news is, it doesn’t take much.

Maybe it’s buying a coffee for the person behind you, leaving a sweet note, saying hi and smiling to someone walking down the street, or surprising someone with a thoughtful little gift.

Those small acts? They add up.

Volunteer Lethbridge is inviting everyone to take part in Random Acts of Kindness Week, running February 14th to the 20th. It’s all about those small, intentional moments that can completely change someone’s day.

They’ve also launched their Gifts of Kindness initiative, where local businesses and community members can donate gift cards, small items, or sponsorship dollars to help spread that kindness even further across Lethbridge.

We had a chance to speak with Ludwig Moelbert, Programs and Partnerships Coordinator with Volunteer Lethbridge more about this community inniative:

They’re hoping to raise about $3,000, and every single contribution helps create connection and supports their acts of kindess.

Kindness is contagious and they’re spreading it everywhere!
