The Helen Schuler Nature Centre in Lethbridge will be hosting another Nature Play Pop-Up Event on Saturday, February 21, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. This event focuses on loose parts play, providing children with a variety of equipment to create whatever their imagination desires.
Taylor Hecker, one of the program leaders at the center, tells CJWE that children aged 6 to 12 are likely to benefit the most from this program.
Hecker also noted that they will host a few more winter events in March before transitioning to summer programs in July and August.
