The Okotoks Elks Club will host an information night on Thursday, March 12, at 6:00 p.m. at the Elks Community Hall. This event is designed for youths aged 12 to 17 to learn about the Elks and its new junior program. The first meeting of the program will take place on April 2.
David Milos, former president of the club, tells CJWE that the program is an initiative that allows youth to raise money and then donate it to a cause they feel is important to them.
Milos mentioned that they currently have ten participants and hopes that Thursday’s event will help bring in more young people to the program.
