Next month, Medicine Hat Firefighters will be camping out on a rooftop for a weekend to support Muscular Dystrophy awareness and financial needs.
Part of the Medicine Hat Firefighters Charitable Foundation vision and mission is to generate financial support for community medical care programs, services, and facilities, and offer compassionate support to members of our community facing traumatic injuries, medical emergencies, or chronic disease.
The MHFCF is doing just that with the 17th Annual 2026 Rooftop Campout April 10-12, 2026!
“FIREFIGHTERS X AND XX WILL BE CAMPING OUT AT S2 IN SUPPORT OF MD. Muscular dystrophy (MD) refers to a group of genetic diseases that cause progressive weakness and degeneration of skeletal muscles. For decades, Fire Fighters across Canada have made a powerful impact by raising funds for MD.” – www.mhffcharity.com
Earlier today, CJWE had a chance to speak with Adam Moser, Executive Director of the MHFCF, more about this fundraiser:
