A New Music Festival, “KinFest,” is Making it’s Way to The Foothills

KinFest Music Festival is a brand new festival making it’s way to the Foothills of Alberta!

Being held in Millarville, it’s going to be more than just a weekend of live music, it’s a vibrant celebration of community and summer energy.

Bringing together an exciting mix of local talent and crowd-favourite performers, KinFest is a fun event for the whole famly with the perfect atmosphere for music lovers of all kinds.

From dancing in front of the stage to soaking up the sunshine with friends and exploring food vendors and enjoying a free Fathers Day Pancake Breakfast, it’s the kind of feel-good event that captures everything we love about festival season.

Wendell Tenove, Fundraiser Director for the Kinsmen Club of Calgary, spoke with us more about the weekend of music and summer fun in the sun:

The inaugural KinFest Music Festival, hosted by the Kinsmen Club of Calgary, takes place June 19–21, 2026, at the Millarville Racetrack. This three-day charity fundraiser features 15 bands, including Boondog and Eden Taylor, plus beer gardens, food trucks, and a Sunday pancake breakfast. Tickets are available on the Kinsmen website.

  • Lineup Highlights: Eden Taylor, Jeremy Dallas, Boondog, Souls in Rhythm, Natalie Inga & The Lady Bros, PeachPanic, Peter and the Wolves, and JK and the Relays.
  • Tickets & Camping: Early bird passes were $99 (check site for current pricing). Camping is available at the venue with options for extra nights.
