For over 40 years, Calgary students and families have been able to learn about animals and the stories of how our food gets to our plate.

This is the 41st year that Aggie Days has been in existence, and Brian Gross, the Chairperson of the Agriculture Education Subcommittee, explains more about Aggie Days.

The first three days of Aggie Days (April 154 to 17) are School Days, which is tailored for grades 3 to 6 students.

Gross adds that it is important to have these School Days as part of Aggie Days.

To help make the school trips to Aggie days fun, they have about 50 different displays for the kids to enjoy.

On top of the displays, there are lots of animals onsite, such as bees, chickens, pigs, horses, cows, and others.

There are also milking demonstrations, and more.

April 18 and 19 are Family Days at Aggie Days, which allows families to explore the exhibits.

Admission is free for all on Family Days.
