The Esquao Awards kicks off on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 12pm to 4pm at River Cree Resort in Enoch recognizing the achievements and contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit women from across Alberta.
The event will honor 17 indigenous women making a difference in their community.
Each year, 600 people from across the province and beyond attend the Esquao Awards. Guests include members from all levels of government, Indigenous organizations, Métis and First Nation leaders, businesses, friends, and supporters.
