A presentation on Alzheimer’s and dementia will take place at the High River Library on April 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event, organized by the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories, aims to provide a better understanding of both diseases.
Connie Snider, the Mobile Rural Navigator Coordinator for the society, tells CJWE that their goal is to provide residents with information about how individuals living with dementia can live well
Some common symptoms that people may experience when living with dementia and Alzheimer’s include memory changes, loss of initiative, changes in mood, and impaired judgment.
