Calaway Park is officially kicking off its 2026 season on May 16, bringing back rides, games, and all that nostalgic summer energy.

With that in mind, entering the park will be a different experience this year.

A new admissions area, park entrance and new lots are set to open for the facility’s first day of operations on May 16.

The new road entrance is set up on Township Road 245, just south of the original entrance.

It will take guests down a road to the free parking, which has been divided into four different themed lots: Sky, Prairie, Forest and Mountain.

Officials say accessibility parking and RV day parking is available in the Sky lot, and the road around the Mountain and Forest lots is designated as one-way.

Campground guests will also be using the Township Road 245 entrance but are directed to take the first right.

The drop-off area has also been relocated to the new admission gate.

Calaway Park is open May 16 to June 21 on Saturday, Sundays and holiday Mondays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On June 26, the park switches to a daily schedule of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Aug. 30.

Calaway Park General Manager Bob Williams spoke about the new changes and the excitement around the park this year.
