The Strathmore Library will be hosting a Moose Hide Day Campaign Event on Friday, May 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This day is an Indigenous movement calling on all Canadians, especially men and boys, to stand against violence towards women and children.
Tiffany Carlson, the Local Immigration Partnership Coordinator with the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, tells CJWE that they have partnered with the Indigenous Liaison from FCSS to organize this event.
Carlson explained that they will also have drum teachings and guest speakers talking about Moose Hide Campaign Day.
