There’s a free FIFA watch party for this year’s FIFA Final World Cup happening this Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 12pm to 4pm on Stephen Avenue located at 800 2nd Street S.W. in Calgary.
The championship game will see Spain vs. Argentina battle for the FIFA World Cup Trophy.
A large LED screen will broadcast the match with exciting festivities opening and closing the event, and lots of prizes to be won.
This event is hosted by Explore Downtown YYC with the Calgary Downtown Association, Calgary Wild FC, Cavalry FC, and the Centre for Newcomers.
Explore Downtown YYC and its partners hosted a number of World Cup watch parties this summer, welcoming hundreds of people and families from across the city to enjoy the premier international tournament matches downtown.
The excitement culminates this Sunday with a lively celebration of soccer fandom and team pride along the vibrant and refreshed Stephen Avenue.
Please keep in mind there will be road closures on 7th Ave and 9th Ave S.W. in effect.
