Danillo Canales Glenn, who was 18 at the time, was pepper-sprayed, assaulted and stabbed in September of 2023. The following day, two brothers, 16 and 18 were arrested.

Initially the two were charged with second degree murder, but plead guilty to manslaughter.

As a result, the 16-year-old, who cannot be identified according to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was given an 18-month sentence, 12 months in custody, followed by 6 months under community supervision.

The older brother, who is now 20, has been given eight years as of Tuesday. He also cannot be identified, as it would reveal the identity of the younger brother.
