Baseball playoff season is descending upon southern Alberta, and more than a few teams are beginning their journey for a championship, starting tomorrow.
As the season draws to a close, southern Alberta has healthy representation, with the 42-14 Okotoks Dawgs, the 33-23 Lethbridge Bulls, and the 22-34 Medicine Hat Mavericks all making the post-season tournament.
All first round series will be played in a best of three format.
Series 1:
Okotoks Dawgs (#1) vs Energy City Cactus Rats (#4):
Game 1, Friday August 7th, in Okotoks, 7:05pm
Game 2, Saturday August 8th, in Okotoks, 7:05pm
Game 3 IF NEEDED, Sunday August 9th, in Okotoks, 2:05pm.
Series 2:
Lethbridge Bulls (#3) vs Sylvan Lake Gulls (#2):
Game 1, Friday August 7th, in Sylvan Lake, 7:05pm
Game 2, Saturday August 8th, in Lethbridge, 7:05pm
Game 3 IF NEEDED, Sunday August 9th, in Sylvan Lake, 2:05pm.
Series 3:
Medicine Hat Mavericks (#4) vs Moose Jaw Miller Express (#1):
Game 1, Friday August 7th, in Moose Jaw, 7:05pm
Games 2 and 3 time not released yet, but Games 2 and 3 will also be in Moose Jaw.
