Alberta Health Services' Mobile Mammography Van//AHS
Mammograms are x-rays of the breast that help detect breast cancer early, for more effective treatment. The Mobile Mammography vans have been active since September 2025, and replaced old aging trailers, and allowed more Albertans access to scans, and were funded through the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
Eligible Residents of Mînî Thnî will be able to get mobile breast cancer screening next month, as the Screen Test mobile mammography service will be at the Stoney Health Centre parking lot at 1 Mînî Thnî Road on Sept. 9 and 10.
Mammograms are available at no cost for eligible individuals between the ages of 45 and 74, by appointment only.
