Voters in Calgary head to the polls today in a provincial byelection.
Five candidates are in the running, including Mike Derry (UCP) Kyle Campbell (NDP)
Other candidates include teacher Kyle Joseph for the Progressive Tory Party of Alberta, lawyer John Roggeveen for the Liberal Party of Alberta, and Independent candidate Rolly Ashdown.
Canadian citizens who are at least 18 years of age or older on Election Day are eligible to vote if they are an ordinary resident of Calgary-Shaw. If you are uncertain if you reside in Calgary-Shaw, check “Where Do I Vote” on the Elections Alberta website to determine if it is your electoral division.
Polls are open until 8pm
