Country star Riley Green is heading to Calgary for this year’s Grey Cup!
Green will take the stage during the Bud Light Grey Cup Halftime Show at McMahon Stadium on November 15.
The multi-platinum artist is known for hits including Worst Way and There Was This Girl, and has already picked up five Academy of Country Music Awards.
He was also one of the big winners at the 59th annual CMA Awards, where his duet with Ella Langley, You Look Like You Love Me, took home Song of the Year, Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year.
Green says he’s spent plenty of time touring Canada, but getting to experience the Grey Cup and perform at halftime will be a special one.
He’ll be joined at the Grey Cup by some other big Canadian names. Sarah McLachlan will perform the national anthem, while Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor will take the stage with a special guest.
The James Barker Band will also perform during the pre-game festivities.
The 113th Grey Cup is happening at McMahon Stadium in Calgary on November 15.
