Lethbridge Polytechnic establishes cultural centre partnership to study Indigenous misinformation

The Ninastako Cultural Centre is working with Lethbridge Polytechnic on a project that will see misinformation relating to Indigenous communities studied and addressed.

The study will look into how misinformation spreads, and how it impacts communities, while examining what can be done.

Lethbridge Polytechnics’ Centre for Public Safety Applied Research is carrying out the study, and looks to bring together a wide range of community members.

Among those asked for input are Elders, Knowledge Keepers, community leaders and educators, as well as students.
