The Lougheed House National and Provincial Historic Site has opened up a Halloween pop-up exhibit called Tricks, Treats, and Traditions: A History of Halloween in Southern Alberta.  The exhibit explores the history of Halloween, tracing its origins and traditions.

Cassandra Cummings, Curator at the house, tells CJWE that the exhibit also touches on some of the history behind the phrases “trick or treat” and “Jack O’Lantern.”

Cummings added that the exhibit will stay open until November 5 and is completely free for anyone wanting to check it out.
