Football fans of all ages will have a chance to test their skills this October as CF Market Mall partners with the Grey Cup to launch The Huddle, a free interactive football experience running from October 5 to 18, 2026.
Located in the mall’s Grand Court and Centre Court, the two-week event will give visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of football-themed challenges and activities. Participants can put their quarterback accuracy to the test with target-throwing stations, measure their vertical jump, take on a blocking sled, and experience a digital football simulator.
CF Market Mall General Manager Paige O’Neill said the event is designed to bring the excitement of football season directly to shoppers and local sports fans.
“We’re thrilled to bring the energy of the CFL and the start of football season to our mall this October,” O’Neill said. “With The Huddle, we’re creating a vibrant, fun-filled experience where local sports fans and shoppers can come together to celebrate their love of the game in an entirely new way.”

In addition to the hands-on challenges, The Huddle will feature appearances by CFL players, alumni and team mascots, on October 17th, and 18th. Visitors can take part in autograph sessions, meet-and-greets and photo opportunities scheduled throughout the event.
Fans will also be able to create their own custom player cards. The free personalized keepsakes will be printed on site from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 10 and 11, as well as October 17 and 18.
The Huddle is free to attend and will be open during regular CF Market Mall operating hours. Organizers say the event is designed for all ages and skill levels, making it an accessible experience for football enthusiasts and families alike.
