Strathmore RCMP End Shelter-in-Place, still looking for Armed Robbery Suspect

Strathmore RCMP ended a shelter-in-place advisory in the early Sunday.

In a public notice, RCMP said they were searching for a suspect believed to be armed with a gun and linked to a robbery.

“The suspect was not located but is not believed to be in the area,” police said.

While the order was in effect, residents were asked to stay inside, follow police directions and avoid posting photos of responding officers on social media.

Police urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity or relevant information to the RCMP.
