No tricks, just treats as police plan their 4th Annual “Trunk or Treat” event!
The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is brewing up some Halloween fun and invites families from across the community to the 4th Annual Trunk or Treat event.
This frightfully fun, family-friendly celebration gives children the opportunity to trick-or-treat from decorated police vehicles in a safe environment that’s sure to be the pick of the patch.
CJWE got the chance to speak with S/Sgt. Jim DeMone more about it:
S/Stg. DeMone also gave us some Halloween saftey tips:
Volunteer officers and staff will be handing out tasty treats to all the little ghosts and goblins between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. at the following three locations:
SOUTH – The Nikka Yuko RV parking lot along Mayor Magrath Drive South
WEST – The boat launch parking lot at Nicholas Sheran Park along McMaster Blvd. West
NORTH – The green space behind the Logan Boulet Arena at 1302 9 Avenue North
This free event is geared toward families with younger children, but all youth are welcome to attend. Come dressed in your Halloween best and join us for a monstrously good time filled with treats, costumes and community spirit. It’s guaranteed to be a boo-rilliant evening for the whole family.
