Reports started coming in just after 7am of this morning of a house fire, as well as one confirmed explosion in Foothills County, near Okotoks. Photos and videos are circulating online of a fire at a rural property near the Heritage Heights Highschool, which was evacuated.
The Calgary Fire Department says a crew was dispatched from the Seton detachment to investigate. However, the fire is outside city limits, and Foothills County Fire was already on scene, and do not require any assistance. Updates are still coming in on this breaking news story.
