Mother Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Canada is an organization that works to raise awareness about the dangers and harms of impaired driving while also, helping those who have been affected by an impaired driver.
According to MADD’s report on Provincial Short-Term Alcohol and Drug-Related Suspensions & Federal Impaired Driving Charges released in March 2023, from 2010 to 2021 every hour in Canada nine federal criminal charges and provincial short-term suspensions are laid for impaired driving.
One of the easiest ways to help prevent impaired driving is having a plan on how to get home before going out and getting behind the wheel.
CJWE spoke with Vice President of MADD Calgary Aaron Libby about conversations to have before going out during Holiday Season.
