
Blood Tribe Police Service has charged a southern Alberta woman following a traffic stop.
On May 31, 2023, the Drugs Task Force Unit conducted a traffic stop on Highway 2, assisted by the RCMP Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit. The BTPS pulled over the vehicle after it was seen leaving an area “known to be involved heavily in the drug subculture”.
According to police, a subsequent investigation following the traffic stop led to the seizure of 10 grams of suspected prepackaged fentanyl, and $1,500 in cash.
Kristen Jo Tallow, 28, of the Blood Tribe, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession of property obtained by crime, personation, and resisting arrest.
