Picking up a brush is not often a profession done because you want a job and a stable income. Thankfully, Indigenous artist Kalum Teke Dan from the Kainai Nation (Blood Tribe) is able to do both.
By embracing his Blackfoot heritage, he has been able to not only have a successful business but also, inspire pride in the urban Indigenous Community.
Teke Dan shares how it all got started and how he uses his art to stay connected to his Heritage.
