Johnson’s corn on the cob from Taber is making its way to stands across Alberta.
James Johnson, co-owner of Johnson Fresh Farms near Barnwell, says this summers dry heat have allowed them to set up stands much earlier.
The sweet corn has also been popping up at local farmer’s markets too.
Taber Corn sells for $7.00 per half a dozen, $13.00 for a ‘Johnson’ dozen and $45.00 for a full sack.
