The Medicine Hat Regional airport will be the scene of a simulated training exercise today.
The City of Medicine Hat said in a news release, the objective of this exercise is to promote seamless collaboration among the City’s essential emergency services, the Medicine Hat Police Service and Fire and Emergency Services, in conjunction with regional airport personnel.
By simulating a realistic scenario within the airport environment, the exercise is designed to enhance interdepartmental skills and cultivate collaborative relationships between emergency responders.
This collaborative effort aims to improve emergency response coordination and boost response efficiency.
Routine airport operations will not be disrupted during this training exercise.
