Nominations for the prestigious 31st annual Calgary Awards are now open and will remain available until January 26.
Since their inception in 1994, the Calgary Awards have served as a meaningful platform to celebrate and recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals, community groups, corporations, and organizations.
The awards encompass five distinct categories, offering thirteen unique awards, including the Award for Accessibility and the International Achievement Award.
Andrew Brouwer, Assistant Director with the City Clerk’s Office, shares his thoughts on the significance of these awards:
It’s a wonderful opportunity to shine a light on those who go above and beyond for the betterment of our community. Recognizing their hard work is crucial, and even if they do not win, merely being nominated is a remarkable acknowledgment of their dedication and impact.”
To ensure that your nominee receives their well-deserved recognition, be sure to submit your nominations on the Calgary.ca website before the January 26 deadline.
