The 2024 tax season is around the corner meaning many people will be breaking out their calculators and gathering all their documents.
While it can be overwhelming and often hiring an expert can be out of people’s budget, the Pincher Creek Municipal Library will be offering a free program to help the community.
This program falls in line with the Library’s mandate of educating programming that enriches its community.
Outreach Coordinator for the Pincher Creek Municipal Library Samantha Bonwick says the program is another way the Library provides equal opportunity.
Eligible individuals must have a modest income and a simple tax situation and may include the following:
- adults 65 years and older
- housing-insecure individuals
- Indigenous Peoples
- modest-income individuals
- newcomers
- persons with disabilities
- students and youth
It has been several years since the program has been held at the library so space may be limited.
The program is available by appointment only and can be made by contacting the Pincher Creek Municipal Library directly.
