On July 23, the Tsuut’ina Fire Rescue, Calgary Fire Department, and Kidde announced a new fire safety partnership.

Representatives of Kidde, a fire safety company, donated about $86,000 worth of smoke alarms to Tsuut’ina and Calgary fire services, to be given to those in need across the two communities.

Chief Tyler Two Guns, of Tsuut’ina Fire Rescue, shares how, while there may be differences, both departments are fighting the same fires together:

Tsuut’ina and Calgary announced a new community safety partnership that will build on both fire services, aiding each other with fire incidents and other emergencies in and around the southwest edge of Calgary and Tsuut’ina Nation.
