A Calgary man has been charged by the Hawai’i Island Police with first degree sexual assault on a female minor in West Hawai’i.

21-year-old Einreb John Pasuquin Dizon from Calgary was arrested on Saturday, November 1, 2025 by detectives from the Area II Juvenile Aid Section, following an investigation initiated by South Kohala patrol officers.

Through the investigation, it was revealed that Dizon recently traveled to Hawai’i and upon arrival, met with a minor he had previously connect with through Roblox, which is an online gaming platform.

Dizon allegedly rented a bed-and-breakfast, where he engaged in sexual contact with the minor, which is prohibited under Hawai’i law due to the victim’s age.

After conferring with the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, Dizon was charged by detectives on Sunday, November 2 with first-degree sexual assault, which is classified as a Class A felony.

His bail was set at $250,000, and has made his initial court appearance on Monday, November 3 in the Kona District Court.

Due to the victim’s age and the sensitive nature of the case, no additional details will be released in order to protect the juvenile’s privacy and well-being.

The Hawai‘i Police Department is reminding parents and guardians to remain vigilant about their kids’ online activity.

On top of that, the police are reminding parents to discuss internet safety, particularly regarding online gaming and social media platforms where predators may attempt to contact minors.
