Alberta to test emergency alert system on TVs, radios, phones this week

If your phone suddenly rings out with a loud emergency alert, don’t be alarmed — Alberta is simply conducting a test this week.

An Alberta Emergency Alert system test will be conducted Wednesday at 1:55 p.m. (Alberta Time)

The test will be broadcast on Radio, TV and compatible phones & other LTE connected wireless devices.
