Get ready to lace up your walking shoes and meet some wonderful, supportive community members!

The 2nd Annual Steps Towards Healing Walk is back!

Hosted by Red Road Reclamation, organizer Dustin Dick, tells us that last year’s walk was a chilly success, with brave souls hitting the frosty path to show support. This year, the event is expected to bring out an even bigger crowd, all coming together to celebrate community, healing, and connection.

But it’s not just about walking, it’s also about giving back. The walk will also include a used coat drive, helping people stay warm during the winter months.

Dustin shares more about Steps Towards Healing: Still Here Together walk and coat drive with us below:

Whether you’re walking, donating, or just stopping by to show support, this event is all about making everyone feel welcome and part of the journey toward healing. This heartwarming event takes place November 19th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Iiniikokan Shelter & Recovery Center in Siksika.

They’ll gather as a community to honor our people, remember those we’ve lost, and continue walking forward in unity and strength.
