The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland has a new program, which will help people understand history.

The Visitor Experience Lead at the Confluence, Sam Fleming, explains more about their program, Understanding History Through Art, Take the tour, paint your perspective.

People are invited to check out the first temporary exhibit this Saturday, April 18, at the Confluence, where people will participate in a guided tour and art program in their White Box Space.

As part of that tour, people will learn about the three art exhibitions that are currently on display, plus a short history on artists responses throughout and in response to Canada’s history.

On top of the tour, those in attendance will be able to create their own response.

They will also have other programs planned on May 3 and May 16, and there will be new exhibits that people can enjoy.

But, if you are unable to attend the guided tour, there will still be opportunities to check out the artwork, as the exhibit will be on display for a while.

The guided tour on Saturday will take place from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Confluence Historic Site & Parkland.
