Example Necklace Source: Dawn Saunders
Canmore Alberta will be the home of an upcoming Medallion Necklace Workshop. Participants will be able to make their own necklaces with materials provided like small hides, wood, paint, artificial claws and wood BURNING materials.
Participants will get to work alongside Stoney artists Kyle Kaqultts and Jarron Poucette, as well as Dawn Saunders, who we had the chance to speak with and ask about the workshop.
We asked Dawn about her background, and how it relates to the work.
We also asked Dawn about her favorite piece of artwork she’s made.
