The AB Charity Collaborations group, ran by Alycia Rose Chantal, hosts monthly donation based collaborations for models, hair and make up artists, photographers, and other like-minded creatives looking to make connections and network within their community. They welcome creatives of all skill types, people trying to break in, even if someone has an interest in learning more about these endeavors can attend, for a small fee.

Any profits raised by the entry fees charged to attendees go to local charities and organizations.

On June 20th, they are hosting their second Canadian Red Dress Collective at Enmax Park in Calgary, with a 20$ entry fee. The proceeds go to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society. There are 3 time slots during the day, with different photographers, models and make up artists, and the event currently features two designers, with space for a third.

We got to speak with Alycia Rose Chantal and got more details about the Alberta Charity Collaborations, the Red Dress Collective and how it came to be.

We asked about the charity aspect of the events, and some details about the event itself.

We asked Alycia about how people can show support for the Alberta Charity Collaborations and the Red Dress Collective.

We also asked Alycia about why the group is important to her.

You can follow the AB Charity Collective on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with upcoming events, model and photography work.
