Eddy Fest Will Be Bringing The Past, Present and Future of the King Eddy to Life in August!

The National Music Centre is celebrating the King Eddy’s 120th anniversary with Eddy Fest, a three-day music festival running August 14–16, 2026.

The event will feature a diverse lineup of blues, rock, country, and singer-songwriter performances while honouring the historic venue’s legacy as one of Canada’s oldest operating music venues and a cornerstone of Calgary’s music scene.

CJWE had the chance to bring Director of Programs @ National Music Centre (NMC/Studio Bell), Stephanie Hutchinson, into the studio to talk to us all about this very fun three-day celebration:

The Eddy Fest is a multi-day live music event celebrating the 120th anniversary of the legendary King Eddy music venue and the 10th anniversary of Studio Bell in Calgary. The festival runs from August 14–16 and showcases roots, rock, blues, and country.

  • Lineup & Events: Weekend-long programming will feature sets by local artists including the Brother Bicker Band, Black Crow Funk, Ashley Ghostkeeper, Deicha & The VuDudes, Sonia Deleo & The New Dads, and Marcus Trummer.
