By Digital News Jun 22, 2026 | 9:21 PM

The Calgary Stampede kicks off July 3rd, and if your tight on cash, organizers say there will be several chances to get into Stampede Park for free or at a reduced cost.

Preview night, known as “Sneak-A-Peek,” takes place on July 2nd.  It gives you early access to the Midway rides, games, and food stalls from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. General admission is $15, with early-bird access available between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. for just $5

On July 3, following the CS Parade, admission to Stampede Park is free from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Family Day on July 5 and Kids’ Day on July 8 will also feature free morning entry, along with breakfast events and programming for children.

Community Day on July 7 offers free admission from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with added perks for seniors and military veterans earlier in the day.

A $50 SuperPass offers entry for all 10 days if purchased before July 2, while other promotions tied to retail purchases provide discounted tickets.

Midway ride passes are also available at reduced prices ahead of the event, including a pre-sale “Ride All Day” option.

For people heading to the rodeo or evening grandstand show, bundle packages are available that combine tickets with park admission at a lower price.

Once inside the grounds, general admission includes access to a range of attractions, including live entertainment, the Stampede powwow, Elbow River Camp and family programming.

More information is available through the Calgary Stampede website and mobile app.
