McDonald’s Canada to Open First Indigenous-Inspired Restaurant in Tsuu’tina Nation

McDonald’s Canada is opening a new restaurant at the Buffalo Run Shopping Centre on Tsuu’tina Nation, marking the first location in the company’s 86-year history to be designed with Indigenous heritage, values and vision at its core.

 

 

Zachary Manywounds of Tsuu’tina Nation tells CJWE new restaurant will give the youth of the Nation a sense of pride be celebrating their culture in a highly visible space.

 

The new McDonald’s location is set to open by the end of 2026.
