Calgary police are actively searching for Parker, an 11-year-old boy who went missing from his day home on Thursday.
Parker was last seen in the 0-100 block of Connaught Drive N.W. between 11:08 a.m. and 11:41 a.m.
He was shirtless, wearing grey shorts, black Sketchers, and black noise-cancelling headphones.
Articles of clothing believed to belong to him were later found around noon in the 0-100 block of Northmount Drive N.W.
“Parker suffers from a medical condition and officers, and his family are concerned for his safety and well-being,” Calgary Police Service said in a news release.
He is described as 4’11” (150 cm) tall, weighing approximately 90 pounds (41 kg), with brown hair and brown eyes.
On Friday, search efforts are focused on northwest communities including Cambrian Heights, Thorncliffe, North Haven, North Haven Upper, Highwood, Highland Park, Greenview, Greenview Industrial Park, Nose Hill Park, and surrounding areas.
Residents in these neighbourhoods are asked to carefully check their properties — including garages, backyards, sheds, under decks, and any other spots where a child might seek shelter or hide.
