The Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation in Lethbridge is marking a significant contribution to its Bringing Hearts Home campaign, thanks to a major donation from a long-standing southern Alberta business.
Serfas Farms announced Monday that it is committing $1 million to support the region’s cardiac care initiative.
Founded in the 1950s, the Serfas family has grown its farming operation over three generations, built on principles of hard work, innovation, stewardship, and a belief that true success comes from investing in people.
Their donation will help advance plans for a future cardiac centre of excellence, aimed at expanding specialized care and ensuring more patients can receive treatment closer to home.
Once built, the cardiac centre will expand access to specialized services and help more patients receive timely care closer to home.
